Interim Principal - Danielle Brady

Principal Brady AMS FlowerDanielle Brady graduated from NAU with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. She has continued her education in Educational Leadership with Grand Canyon University and English as Another Language at University of Notre Dame. She has been in education for the past 17 years in varies positions in Phoenix Title I Schools. She taught 1st through 8th grade in the West Valley. In 2016-2019, she was Assistant Principal and a First Things First Preschool director at a Preschool-8th Grade Private School. 
 
Since joining AMS in 2019, she has held the role of the founding Assistant Principal at AMS Glendale, worked on the academic team as an ELA Program Coordinator, and then as the Assistant Principal at Camelback. For the 2023-2024 School Year she is a member of the Resident Principal Program which has prepared her to move into the Interim Principal role at Flower. Danielle believes that providing a quality early education is the foundation for a child to reach their highest potential. 

 

Assistant Principal - Cynthia Medina

This is Ms. Medina’s 10th year in education. In the past two years she taught and joined the leadership team at KIPP San Francisco College Prep. Prior to that, she taught for seven years in the Houston Independent School District at Hogg Middle School and Heights High School. Throughout her years at both schools, she has taught all levels of Spanish, ranging from Spanish I to AP Spanish Literature. Her students have consistently outscored their peers at the District, State, and National levels. ALL students can achieve transformational outcomes; Ms. Medina believes it is her duty to help them unlock their innate potential. She also believes EVERY child deserves a high quality and equitable education.

 

 

Assistant Principal - Abigail Standley

Abigail Standley

Ms. Standley moved to Phoenix from Columbus, Ohio in 2018. Prior to that, Ms. Standley taught Head Start in Pennsylvania, served in AmeriCorps in Pittsburgh, and graduated in 2017 with her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education/Special Education. While In College, Ms. Standley started a campus-community-based program called, "The Leah Project", whose namesake was from a University staff member's late daughter, Leah, who was an educator. Ms. Standley took the endowment funds into the canals of the community. This "projects" initiative is to connect university students to the students within the classrooms of the surrounding South West Pennsylvania area. 
 
Ms. Standley is passionate about growth, and student success. Not just within the realm of academics, but the whole child. When in the classroom, for the last five years in Arizona, Ms. Standley instilled passion and the love of school and learning into her students. Ms. Standley taught in the public school sector for three years in Arizona, and then with AMS for the last two, where she taught Middle School ELA. 
 
In 2021, Ms. Standley graduated with her Master's Degree from Arizona State University, with a degree in Instructional Design and Technologies. Ms. Standley will be graduating from Arizona State University in, Winter of 2023, with her Master's in Instructional Leadership. Ms. Standley just recently wrapped up her year-long Principal Internship, at AMS Desert Sky, last school year, alongside her teaching and team lead responsibilities. 
When not in the classroom, or in the school setting, Ms. Standley enjoys road trips, spending time with her two dogs, and spending time outdoors.

Executive Principal – Kristina Winters

Kristina Winters
Kristina Winters graduated from ASU with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and will receive her Masters in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University in 2023.  She taught Middle School for 12 years, is Highly Qualified in ELA and Social Studies.  She has dedicated her entire professional career to working within Title I communities in Arizona. 
 
Since joining AMS in 2016, Ms. Winters has held several roles within the organization from Instructional Coach to Founding Principal, as well as Regional Director of Schools. Ms. Winters believes that all children are capable of success and is looking forward to building relationships with campus leaders as she embarks on this new chapter in her career.
