Nichole Shamblin – Principal

Nicole is a seasoned and dedicated educator with decades of experience. With her entire career grounded in education, Nicole has positively impacted many students’ lives. Nicole graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from California State University Monterey Bay. She also holds a Master of Educational Leadership degree from Arizona State University as well as a Master of Elementary Education degree with Reading Endorsement from Arizona State University. Nicole has varied teaching experience K-8, with a concentration in the primary grades. In addition to her teaching roles, Nicole has been an Instructional Coach, Dean of Students, Curriculum Specialist, School Principal and Director of Early Childhood. Nicole is passionate about providing all children the opportunity to succeed in an academic environment. Nicole joined the AMS network in July of 2024.

Ms. Precious Black-Ali, M.Ed. is a dedicated educational leader with over eight years of experience in teaching, instructional coaching, curriculum development, and school administration. She has served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, CTE director, and assistant principal, consistently focusing on student achievement, educator growth, and school improvement.
Guided by servant leadership, equity, and collaboration, Ms. Black-Ali is passionate about developing teachers, fostering positive and school cultures, that support student success. She believes every student deserves access to a high-quality education and every educator deserves the support needed to thrive.
As she continues to expand her impact across K–12 education, Ms. Black-Ali remains committed to mentoring future leaders, strengthening instructional practices, and driving meaningful change that empowers students, educators, and communities.
Head of Operations - Eric Figueredo

With over 10 years of experience in operations management across various industries, Eric Figueredo brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our Camelback campus. He holds an undergraduate degree in Organizational Leadership from Arizona State University and a Master’s degree in Business, equipping him with a strong foundation to lead and innovate.
Eric is passionate about working with people, improving processes, and creating efficient workflows. His commitment to fostering a world-class culture and leading teams ensures that our campus operates smoothly and effectively. Outside of work, family is everything to Eric. As a devoted father of four, he cherishes time spent with his children. He is also an enthusiastic sports coach, sharing his love for basketball at Centennial High School and with several club teams throughout the year. Eric’s dedication to both his professional and personal life exemplifies his belief in nurturing talent, teamwork, and community. |
